well, this nice pair of italian leather gloves i bought in rome for myself as a souvenir during my trip around europe 4 years ago… well, today i lost the left-handed glove at some point and time.

i didn’t even notice it until i was leaving work and only found one glove in my jacket pocket, so i retraced my steps through the building and didn’t see the missing one, and checked the route i took through the parking lot this morning when i was rushing and trying to keep my left shoe on since my shoelace had broken this morning. no glove. 🙁

according to the company’s site they don’t ship to the us, either. but maybe that’s an old page? it says elsewhere on that site something about 2005-season styles, and the main page has a special email address for american customers, so who knows?

still, it’s really disappointing. it was nice to have a pair of gloves that fit well and were comfortable and kept my hands reasonably warm and yet weren’t bulky.

i guess this means i’ll have to go back to rome now… so that’s why i threw that coin in the trevi fountain!
