bleh… too many people who came in today and would mumble to me where they wanted to go, or i would greet them…

me: “hello! how can we help you?”

customer: *either really quiet so i couldn’t hear them or they would turn away or continue walking* “hi. mumblemumblemumble…“

or

me: “hello! how can we help you?”

customer: *wanders away*

me: “uh, can we help you with anything?

customer: *stands with their back to me*

me: “CAN I HELP YOU FIND ANYTHING???”

customer: *continues…*

me: “ok, well, then, i’ll be over here.” 😛

or

me: “hello! how can we help you?”

customer: “i want this, and this, and such-and-such…” *wanders past me at my post as they continue talking*

me: (thinking “I’M OVER HERE, DUMBASS!”)

or

me: “hello! how can we help you?”

customer: “i want to talk to them” *points and walks up to the counter*

me: *runs after them* “i can take your name down and have a salesperson help you out”

customer: *looks around the entire room where people are either browsing the phones or standing there staring at the desk* “oh, there’s a WAIT TO SEE A SALESPERSON?!?!”

i hate it when people try to get away with assholery 😛 i’ve got more stuff to say about today, but that belongs better in co_workers_suck…
