This was posted over 6 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.
A Twitter friend of mine was killed yesterday by a car thief speeding in a stolen vehicle.
I never met Dave but I looked forward to a time when I might meet him. I often saw him getting on DC officials’ cases for not making safe accommodations for the cycling community, and I appreciated the work that he did.
