i needed a sad trombone at the dealership, went to pick up the mini after work and since my MA (note: MA = “motoring advisor”, your salesperson at MINI dealers) wasn’t there today he told your MA that i’d be stopping by. we went across the street to the lot where they do the work and the front stripe at the very front was missing a chunk about 1″ by 1/2″ and brian was like “oh man, that’s not right at all”, it was kind of funny actually since he kept cussing about it, hahaha… he figures that the installers wouldn’t leave it like that and it probable chipped when the clean-up people were doing their work. he checked to see if there was anybody else there who could do the install real quick while i wait since it’s only the front part up to the logo that needs to be changed but the parts department was closed and the installer techs had already left for the day. he offered to have the loaner gassed up for me so i wouldn’t have to pay money on gas but i have enough for tomorrow no problem, and they offered to even come drive my mini once the stripes are fixed up to my office and swap cars there, hahaha… i told them i could just go to the dealer after work since i’m coming back this way anyway since i live so close (also since i’m in meetings tomorrow and there’s one or two that i know i wouldn’t be able to leave if they arrived while i was in those meetings, and it’s weird getting into my parking lot since you have to either use a company badge or talk to the guard at the guardhouse), so i’m getting it tomorrow and one more day of the loaner for me. womp womp. they were all sorry about it but i was like “it’s cool, shit happens”, hahaha… maybe they’ll give me some motoring swag for being nice about it, hahhaha
