apparently someone who maintains the apple store online isn’t very “shure” of their spelling:

😛
while at work i was messaging cynicalscribe about how after work i’d cook up some burritos and kill some time before going to pick up zenmetsu from the airport, and she said that roxy would probably want some attention since dan’s been away the last few days and i’ve been in and out for family-related christmas activities. anne got a laser pointer for her cat for christmas, so i figured maybe i’d try to find the same one (it’s nice, it uses AAA batteries instead of the little button-sized batteries, so it’s easier to swap out when necessary).
i went to compusa after work since they’re going to be all closed up in about a week and have a clearance sale going on now, and though the laser pointer was on their webpage they didn’t have that (or any) models in store. i picked up a stack of 50 cd-r discs since i was all out. carrie told me they had laser pointers at target, and so i went a few stores down to target but i didn’t see any there either. as i was leaving i noticed that there was a staples in the shopping center too, and i ended up finding the same model on display there (for all of their laser pointers you’re to see a sales associate for assistance), but when they checked in the back they didn’t have it in stock anymore, and the next one up was twice as expensive at about $30, so i figured i’d skip that since it’d just be to play with the cat.
i found a 2 gig memory card for my phone, though… i had been using a 128 meg card that i had with the phone i had before the phone i had before this one (2 phones back), a motorola v710. the card was something like $50, and it’s on clearance at staples for $30 — not even compusa had memory cards like this that cheap, and now it’ll be much better for me to save photos and load some tunes on to my phone.
