while at work today i was changing some mobile numbers for this one agency to the 505 area code for some people who were working in albuquerque, new mexico. while processing these changes, i realized that i hadn’t listened to the weird al yankovic song “albuquerque” in ages, so i fired that up on my ipod and was jamming away while i worked.

after a while into the song i realized that it’s pretty much vocals, drums, guitar and bass. the same parts available in rock band! wouldn’t it be neat if that was one of the songs available to do in rock band? i thought that it’d be pretty awesome…

…and then i decided to search for a copy of the song so you could see what i mean if you’ve never heard it before, and lo and behold look at what i found:
