so i’m totally getting an oboe on monday. 😀 hooray! $350, and i’ll be trying it out before buying it, but i can’t see myself NOT buying it. i mean, an oboe? for $350? decent price for an oboe to fart around on and see if i still have my ol’ oboe skillz. i don’t literally mean farting around on, though… them double-reeds would be a pain in the ass (hah! :P). i’ve still got my old reeds, too. it’s supposedly been maintained, so that’s good. i would have been able to get it today except the lady who’s selling it had to attend a funeral, so we rescheduled the rendezvous for monday.
