i think aeire is going to “lol” at this post the most, especially since she’s the one who linked me to this:
so last night a bunch of us went out to do karaoke at this karaoke booth-rental place, and all (or almost all) of us had seen the above video provided by aeire. well, at one point, we were singing along and i started adding words to the end of phrases in the lyrics. it was pretty bad how well it matched up for the song i did it with:
When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,…IN THE BUTT!
When you’re sure you’ve had enough of this life, well hang on.…IN THE BUTT!
Don’t let yourself go, everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes.…IN THE BUTT!
Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it’s time to sing along.…IN THE BUTT!
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on…IN THE BUTT!)
If you feel like letting go …IN THE BUTT!, (hold on)
When you think you’ve had too much of this life, well hang on.…IN THE BUTT!
Everybody hurts.…IN THE BUTT! Take comfort in your friends.…IN THE BUTT!
Everybody hurts.…IN THE BUTT! Don’t throw your hand. …IN THE BUTT!
Oh, no. Don’t throw your hand.…IN THE BUTT!
If you feel like you’re alone, no, no, no, you are not alone…IN THE BUTT!
If you’re on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you’ve had too much of this life to hang on.…IN THE BUTT!
Well, everybody hurts sometimes,…IN THE BUTT!
Everybody cries.…IN THE BUTT! And everybody hurts sometimes.…IN THE BUTT!
And everybody hurts sometimes.…IN THE BUTT! So, hold on, hold on.…IN THE BUTT!
Hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on.
see, it’s pretty bad.
at least aeire might be happy to know that spoothed totally has plans to make a pair of pants that say “WHAT WHAT” on the butt. thanks to aeire that video has taken on cult status!
so easter was good. i got a book in my easter basket about baseball in 1908. we went to church with my mom’s side of the family and then we all met up at aunt ellen’s for lunch, visiting and watching the masters on tv.
tomorrow is the o’s home opener! yay!
