i miss curling 🙁 i can’t do my thursday-night curling sessions because of my photojournalism class, although i could probably pay up and go curling at other times during the week. maybe i’ll do that.
at least i’ve got a desktop picture to help me get through this rough time:
today spoothed and i went shoe-shopping and i picked up two pairs of shoes – a white pair of adidas with some green highlights, and a pair of white and brown pumas.
afterwards i went to the annapolis mall to go into borders and get myself a copy of the associated press stylebook for my class so i can finally let the library have their copy back. i also wandered into express since i had seen these pants online the other day and thought i’d give them a try. next thing i know i’ve got a pair of pants (they give you a $10 off coupon for just trying on a pair of their “producer” or “director” pants – i got the “producer” pants), a belt ($10 off belts with a purchase of pants or jeans), and though they didn’t have this kind of grey/purple dress shirt that i thought might look nice in my size, the girl who looked in the back for one for me also brought out a mint-green dress shirt that she wasn’t sure if i might be interested in. i saw it and said “yeah, i can rock that” and bought that too. tried it on back here at the apartment and it’s awesome!
after all that i grabbed my stuff from the house, drove to pap-pap’s place and helped him out with his computer. upgraded his laptop from mac os 10.3.9 to 10.4.8 and got his printers to finally start working again and then came back to the apartment to do homeworks and insult katie:
