This was posted over 19 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.
photojournalism class is fun, the internets have been down at the apartment for ~24+ hours (up and down, and more down than up, and slow as hell when it’s actually up), zenmetsu, bruno_boy and myself went out last night for hijinx after rescuing dan from the horrors of union station in dc, and right now i’m headed out to do some street photography (“aim well, shoot fast, and scram.” – de gaulle / henri cartier-bresson). more about these later.
photojournalism assignment #1: i need to find a sucker friend, relative, or stranger, and i need to take portraits of them – i have to bring 5 pictures of them to class on thursday. any volunteers?
