This was posted over 19 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.
I was sitting in my livingroom when I heard what sounded like a bus pull up in front of the house, and I looked out the window to see the Jack Daniels’ Tailgate Party Bus parked outside. I ran around excited for a few seconds trying to find my camera before it pulled away. Turned out it turned down a street around the corner, so I grabbed my camera and ran outside to take a picture of it without the neighbors outside in their yard thinking I was weird for doing so. My camera didn’t want to auto-focus, so I had to manually focus in the low light – of the four pictures I took, at different shutter speeds and ISOs, they all came out equally blurry… the out-of-focusness is due to operator excitedness.
