i’m so crazy, i actually went ahead this weekend and registered 321steak.com. i just turned the webhosting for it on a few minutes ago, it’s going to take a day or two for the site to propogate through the internets.

i upgraded my handset yesterday – i ordered the blackberry 8130 (“the pearl”). while i’m waiting for my order to be processed, i figured that i might as well clean up my address book on my computer so it’ll have the most current info i’ve got for folks when it gets here and i sync it… there were a lot of entries with some pretty old information, i was surprised!

cynicalscribe was going through my music the other day and said “wow, i had no idea how prolific frank zappa was” when she got to my zappa collection. and it’s true, that man worked on so many damn things with so many damn people it’s ridiculous. there ought to be a condensed version of the wikipedia page since his page is so damn long. unfortunately the simple english frank zappa page is a little, well, too simple. (more like it contains THE UNDERSTATEMENTS OF THE CENTURY.) but it’s still amusing! maybe i’ll try to compile a sort of cliff’s notes one of these days for kicks, breaking down exactly what stuff he’s done that folks might not be aware of.
so i’m pretty confident about my history exam, especially considering the circumstances (1 night of cramming + 4 hours of sleep). i busted out the 25% part with pretty much no difficulties whatsoever — they provided a list of people and things and you had to write 3+ sentences on each one. the 75% part, 3 essays, that part was a little tougher… especially since we were told to write what would be 3+ pages per essay. no way people are going to get 9 pages of writing done on single-spaced paper by hand in 3 hours. so my first essay was long, the second one was shorter, and the last one was shortest of all. but i’m happy with my responses.
already sold my textbook back, got $24.50 for it, nice!

picture me giving a damn, i said never
i had driven through one of the baltimore tolls a few months ago with my ez-pass empty of funds in my car by accident, and i got a letter in the mail about a month or so ago about paying the $2.00 toll. don’t believe the hype: i paid it, they cashed it, and now they claim i haven’t paid and want me to pay an additional $15.00 fee. can’t truss it. i’m gonna fight the power and shut em down so they give it up by the time i get to arizona. yeahh, boyee… hopefully they won’t say “can’t do nuttin’ for ya man”… i hope brothers gonna work it out before they end up making me public enemy #1.
