This was posted over 20 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.
it’s only been just over 2 hours since i got to work today and already i’m ready to kill. not just because of customers, but also some of the idiotic things the upper management mucky-mucks have thought up for us to do while i was away that (while they make sense from a business = make money standpoint) don’t really make sense in a take-care-of-the-customer standpoint. this sucks for me because i’m the one between the customer and the company policy.
if i make it through today without walking off the job, i’m in better shape than i thought.
