This was posted over 9 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.
The Orioles lost the American League Wild Card game late yesterday night. I tried to console myself that at least it was in extra innings and was settled by a decisive three-run home run, as I figure that such a loss is better than one due to a single close play or questionable call, but it’s still a disappointing outcome.
