The Continuum Brass Quintet (http://continuumbrassquintet.com) with James Kent ’99 and musicians with DeMatha and University of Maryland ties, will be performing a free concert of thrilling brass music to benefit Ascension Lutheran Church’s Scholarship Fund on Sunday, February 10th at 6 PM. Ascension Lutheran is located at 7415 Buchanan Street in Landover Hills, and a free will offering will be accepted. The five musicians have performed with the Baltimore Symphony, Boston Symphony, National Symphony, Israeli Philharmonic and the US Navy Band, as well as with the O’Jays and Kermit the Frog.
