This was posted over 18 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.
The BWI airport Sheraton has an electronic sign out front advertising “FREE HSIA”, and it took me a while to realize it stands for “high speed internet access” and that they weren’t trying to make a political statement and misspelled “Asia”.
