it’s 11 pm and i’m about to go to bed. wtf. this is not me.
my coworker kendrick was originally going to be flying back to maryland this evening, but he was able to get his stay here extended one more night so he could help out some more and go to dinner with us (sharla, a supervisor from maryland who is now one of the supervisors here in huntsville, took us folks who were helping out with training for dinner at this fancy restaurant called “grill 29”). kendrick bet that he’d be able to get a king-sized room instead of a room with double queen-sized beds and i doubted he’d be able to get that. when he did, he and i went to inspect the room and i got my revenge on him by letting loose in his room. he fought back with some chemical warfare of his own, i escalated it by letting loose in front of his a/c unit, etc.
for dinner i had a filet mignon and a jumbo lump crab cake with garlic mashed potatoes and white corn cheese grits. good stuff! we got a bottle of wine for the table and we got to talking about different antics we’ve been up to… now some of my coworkers know about my partying ways. (i already showed the picture of me as flava-flav to one of the guys in the call center here earlier today, hah):

yesterday at the office we got to be part of a show ‘n tell where a new training class got to ask us questions about what things were like working in a call center, and this morning one of the HR supervisors said they had a focus group with some of the people we were training and they want to have us back (“next week”, apparently, but the supervisors said no, hahah). that’s nice, i’ve enjoyed helping out with the transition here.
