SWEET. zappa plays zappa is coming BACK this way and going to the warner theater again in dc again in november. i’ll buy a ticket once i get my next paycheck mid-september.

i also scheduled myself an eye doctor appointment; the receptionist wished me a belated birthday when i told her my birthdate, and she gave me a time for my appointment earlier than most other folks would get because someone had cancelled. though she had told someone else about it already, they said they’d call back in a little bit and that was 3 hours ago, and i called back before they did. muhahaha! yes, i am the fiend who took your ophthalmology appointment! unfortunately this means that i won’t be able to get goggle-style specs in time for next week’s bout (i can skate without glasses, but i’d prefer to have some just so i can see better, and if they’re safety-goggle-enough then i won’t need to get something extra for playing raquetball!), but i will be able to see if i decide to go to new york to see the off-broadway play “roller derby: the musical”! bahahaha…
