zenmetsu and i went to the apartment office to figure out what’s the scoop for renewing the lease with him on it once the current one expires. as we were walking up to the leasing office i noticed a flattened frog on the ground in the parking lot.

me: “ew, looks like he’s been run over.”

dan: “ew.”

while we were waiting in the lobby, on a table were little packets of candy as thank-yous for people coming to check out the apartment complex. dan found one with some gummy frogs in it and a note that said “we’re HOPPING you’ll choose chase ridge apartments!” or something like that.

me: “yeah, we’ve got folks DYING to get in.”

dan: “…OH GOD.”

then we went driving off to the grocery store to get some food to eat for brunch.

me: “i want to run that frog over again!”

dan: “…why!?”

me: *mock-villanesque, pretending to run over the frog* “muhahaha! take that, frog! i guess now you can really say that he… croaked.”

dan: “………YOU HAD TO SAY THAT, DIDN’T YOU!!”

so now i had to download the frogger game and an apple ii+ emulator to rock out on frogger on my computer. and, speaking of running things over – how awesome! i found a macintosh emulator, i’ll have to fiddle around with it and see if i can get carmageddon up and running on here! it won’t run on my laptop due to changes in the system’s ROM and the computer’s operating system changes.
