today at work i won some candy when i played movie jeopardy; i came in first place in my competition, so since today was “movie”-themed day at work i won movie snacks (a pepsi, a bag of popcorn, and a box of junior mints). there was also a movie-guessing contest where there were screenshots from 12 movies with the actors’ faces/skin photoshopped out so you didn’t know who was in each movie. the person with the most correct wins a $20 gift certificate to blockbuster. i had 11 of them if not all of them. i’m surprised at how many people were thinking “rocky” was “million dollar baby”, too. got free ice cream as well.

after work i went to annapolis for a haircut, picked up a card for dad’s birthday today, and mom, dad, anne, and myself had dinner and cake. mom’s ipod died and refused to let me restore the software on it, but i think i got it up working again now.

tomorrow i’m going to meet people from local magazines and such with mytinyworld to pimp my skills.
