Toilet Paper Dispute Overflows Into Fight

The maids at the Siesta Motor Lodge in North Charleston armed themselves with a plunger and mop after accusing each other of taking toilet paper from each other’s cleaning carts, North Charleston police said.

first thing i thought of when i read that:

anyway, this morning i was 30 minutes late to work. when i go to bed i set my phone on a mode that enables only my alarm, so if i get a call or a text message my phone won’t wake me.

i ended up falling asleep around 11:00-11:30 pm last night, and this morning dad called to me at 6:30 and asked if i had work. “yeah, i’ve got work…” i mumbled, and he asked “are you going to be late?”. me: “nooo….” *looks at clock* “…yessss.” normally at 6:30 i’m already on my way and down the road – i usually leave the house around 6:15-6:20, and so by 6:30-6:35 i’m usually right here. i wondered why my phone didn’t wake me, and when i tried to push buttons to go to the main screen on the phone it wasn’t doing anything… i pushed the power button, and it turned on – somehow during the night (though it was plugged in to the charger) it powered itself off. hrm.

so, hopped out of bed, got dressed, told dad what i found out, got gas, and sped off to work. got to work at 7:30. other than that, the day was nice and smooth with some trickery involved with getting some billing systems to do what i needed them to for some maintenance requests.

i can’t wait until the weekend, it’s supposed to be nice and warm for a change, and there’s a cookout on saturday too!
