This was posted over 20 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.
i ordered the “train man” dvd from ebay on the 16th, and it arrived today from hong kong, via airmail! i’m ripping it to my computer right now (as it’s a region 3 dvd, being from china and all) and removing the region encoding; i’ll just then have to burn it to a dvd and then we can (hopefully) watch it! good good.
