sheesh, you can all re-friend me now. 😛 put away those torches and pitchforks, i blame being tired at 2 am with flickr’s easy-to-use “blog this” button. sheesh. and besides, i have a headache right now and don’t feel well, so be nice. 🙁
and at least it wasn’t a bunch of memes!
anyway, today we went to church (i was laughing at the end because the priest apparently didn’t know the words or didn’t care much for singing, and so he would “bum bum pompity-pom-pom” his way through the hymn), and then we went to visit pap-pap at his new apartment.
it was all that dannyg2005 said it would be, and more! pap-pap’s new apartment is in this retirement community where it’s only apartments, and the apartment buildings are all connected by enclosed walkways. it’s very much a maze on the inside, and everybody just rides around on their scooter-things. you don’t have to go outside for anything if you don’t want to! it’s weird there too, everybody we saw who lives there is white, and everybody we saw who worked there is black. everybody’s so nice, though.
afterwards we took the metro into dc to go to the natural history museum where i took a TON of pictures that i CAN’T WAIT TO POST ON LJ! OH BOY! 😉
came back to annapolis, went to red robin at the mall for dinner, and the i was able to pick up part of my coworker’s gift from borders and the other part from bath and body works or whatever the hell that shop is called.
and now we’re home!
