This was posted over 22 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.

it is weird as anything to see firefights on tv (not much of a fight, though, just some soldiers lying across a road and down a hill keeping an eye and occasionally firing at some “shadowy figures”) live o_o;
edit: especially when they start using tanks!
