This was posted over 23 years ago; my opinions, thoughts, attitude, and writing style may have evolved since then, and this post might have been different if it were to be posted today.
i just read that adobe has announced adobe premiere 6.5, and it’ll run on mac os x – yay! now hopefully it won’t crash like version 6 did. ^_^
unfortunately i don’t see a release date for it anywhere on the site. ^^;; at least that gives me plenty of time to do my investigating… from what i’ve seen at adobe’s store online so far, i may be entitled to upgrade pricing since i own version 5. ^_^ and that’s only $150!
i wonder what the student version would cost, and if there’s a student upgrade (appropriately priced, of course!)… hmm…
