i got an preliminary email invitation to a party a friend is having at his place (and his parties are always fun, even if the booze was talking.)

48 people in the email (including me), so 47 other people.

23 people left after removing the obvious men-names from the list.

now, a few of the names i removed were duplicates, and the name of the host was in there as well, so that works out to be about a 1/1 ratio of guys to girls. not bad!
