at work today i was helping out an older couple by ringing up their purchase, and i noticed that their last name was “cormier”.

i asked them if they knew anyone up in canada, and they said yeah, they knew some people in quebec, and i told them about damonk13 and monkton, and they said “cormier” is the canadian version of “smith” or “jones”, haha.

the really freaky part was when i looked at the list of activations in the system, it lists each one by last name with the newest activations at the top and other info about the activation to the right of their name, but the other info does not matter here.

the last name of the man who was next in line to activate a phone (making his name top at the list), well… this is what i saw:
