The space on county police incident reports for “tools/weapon used” usually is filled in with “hands” or “knife.” The answer on one recent report, though, was “mustard and salad dressing.”

An Annapolis woman reported someone spread yellow mustard and French dressing on her Volkswagen Passat while it was parked in Pasadena.

Donya Twyman said her car was parked at 7820 Darrell Henry Court near Freetown about 7:30 p.m. Thursday when she discovered the vandalism.
