i think it’s neat how at the end of the ceremony people throw their hats up in the air. people used to do that all the time back in the day whenever anything happened and they cheered. wish they’d do that more often nowadays, hehe…

it’s tradition now for the newly comissioned officers to give a silver dollar to the first person who salutes them. guess it’s time for me to run over to the stadium and salute everyone that walks by! XD (just kidding, hehe)
