i got my schedule all set today – i logged online from a demo computer at work to register, hehe:
tuesday:
– IFSM 310 (software and hardware concepts) 11:30 am – 12:45 pm
– PHYS 101 (introduction to physics) 2:30 pm – 3:45 pm
– CMSC 104 (problem solving and computer programming) 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
wednesday:
– IFSM 300 (introduction to management science) 7:00 pm – 9:45 pm
thursday:
– IFSM 310 (software and hardware concepts) 11:30 am – 12:45 pm
– PHYS 101 (introduction to physics) 2:30 pm – 3:45 pm
– CMSC 104 (problem solving and computer programming) 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
so that schedule ROCKS. no class on monday / friday, so i get a 4 day weekend. nothing before 11:30 am. i’ve got an hour and 45 minutes between classes (time enough to study, or nap, even). my professor for my IFSM 310 class i’ve had before, and he’s my advisor too. my professor for my physics course i’ve had for my spies and satellites course, and he’s really cool. another funny thing is that my physics and CMSC 104 courses are both in the same lecture hall, so if there’s nothing going on in between classes i can take a nap in that room and not be late, hehehehe.
i was thinking of taking the CMSC 201 (computer science I for majors) course as dnister suggested, but i decided against it. i have to do well in the two ifsm courses i’m taking (need to get a B or better), and while taking the CMSC course would give me 13 credits instead of 12, i don’t want to spread myself too thin so i can’t do well in those courses. besides, it’s been ages since i’ve programmed, so i’d be quite rusty at that anyways.
i was telling troutman about wesley willis at the wedding over the weekend – wesley willis is the guy with songs like “i whupped batman’s ass”, and “rock and roll mcdonald’s”…

ok, i really ought to be working on a paper to turn into my economics class tomorrow, and studying for my math exam. but as it’s the math course that i’ve just been doing STELLAR in </sarcasm>… it’s almost like, “why bother?” ^^;;
