i saw this comedian on conan o’brian a few weeks ago, and he did this funny analysis of the song “jailhouse rock”. i only remember a bit of it, but it was pretty funny…

now, first off… “The warden threw a party in the county jail”. let me get one thing clear: no he did not. i doubt that any self-respecting jail warden would one day say to himself, “hey, i think today i’ll throw a party in the county jail, especially since i have this here jailhouse band ready to wail at a moment’s notice!”

ok, now let’s take a look at this guy. first off, his name is “sad sack”. not exactly a happy fellow. so what is he doing in jail?? he ought to be in a proper mental institution! and just to show how cruel this warden is, he says stop feeling sorry for yourself and go dance with a piece of furniture. i think that his idea of therapy would be waltzing with a 5-piece dinette set from ikea!
anyway, um, nothing much else. working tomorrow and tuesday, and then i go back to school on wednesday and thursday. i’ll be commuting, though, but at least i’ll still have my verizon job, hehe.
hm. the apple store is down for “maintenance”? usually when that happens they update some product or another. hmm…
