a few notes about this alarm clock i bought from radio shack:

it’s marked “extra loud”. they aren’t kidding. when i first tried it i thought that i might wake everybody in the house. it sounds like a smoke alarm. and then i noticed that it was on the “quiet” setting! O_o

it certainly does wake you up, though (but only if i have it across the room – otherwise i subconciously turn it off when i’m sleeping… ^_^;;). but, be careful… with this alarm clock you might go deaf first. it really hurts your ears… ^^;;
